Still No News

Just a quick update for those of you who are checking - there is still no news from the passport office. Please continue to pray - we want so badly to go and get our kids! I have had the opportunity to send two letters to them through a friend who is in Ghana and who is at Beacon House often. She prints out the letters that I write and takes them and reads them to the girls. She said they are very excited to hear from us. It's so good for me to know that they are hearing from me and knowing that we are still coming!
------------------
This picture is from November when I was at Beacon House. Naomi is in my lap and David is sound asleep on the couch beside me. AnnaMarie was the photographer for this shot. She loved to take pictures with my camera. When I got home and started looking through the photos on my camera, I found pictures she had taken of the bathtub and toilet in the guest house, my suitcase and everything in it, her feet, Naomi's hair...you name it! So funny.
---------------------
If you are wondering what that is on my forehead, it's a sticker that Naomi put there. What is funny about it is that right after this picture was taken, the taxi picked me up to take me to the US Embassy to file our paperwork. I forgot that the sticker was on my head and was in the taxi for 20 minutes before I put my hand up to move my hair out of my face and felt the sticker. I asked George (the taxi driver that we all use while in Accra) why he didn't tell me it was there, and he laughed and said he thought maybe I wanted it there - maybe it was some American fashion that he didn't know about. Then we both cracked up! I'm just glad I didn't show up at the Embassy with it on there - they probably would have sent me away! So funny!
