Adoption Group Bowling!

We have a group from church of people who have or are in the process of adopting and we get together as families once a month to do something fun together. It is quite a sight to see us all coming into a builiding together - there are MANY kids in this group! Yesterday we went bowling and had a great time!

Every time little Jaden D'Angelo went up to bowl, he had several girls that went up to cheer him on. It was SO cute!

Rick after his big strike! Good job, Hon!

Rick and Corey taking a break!

Anneliese, Hannah and Taylor

Chandler and Hayden

Joseph, George and Jeremiah

Gina and Lovey

Maria was very happy with this turn!

Getting ready - picking the right ball is very important!

I love this - Lydia was checking out Mulinesh's hair - so sweet!

Brothers! Joshua and Moses!

We had a wonderful time - even though not one of us can bowl! It was pretty funny! The kids are all getting to know one another and it's really fun to see. I can't wait until AnnaMarie, Naomi, David, the Aydelotte's new daughter, Monica and the Murphy's new daughter, Sadie can join us! We will have to rent out the whole bowling alley, I think!

Adoption news - one of the four families waiting for passports at Beacon House got their passports last week - all three of them! Praise the Lord! So their three little boys will be coming home in the next 3 weeks or so. This is good news for the rest of us, too, because it means that the passports really are there - somewhere! All we need is one, so we will keep on praying!

  1. Cheryl,
I'm praying with you that God's timing for those passports is VERY soon now!! I understand that things are not moving for us in Liberia because the President called a time-out to fix some real problems, I don't like it but I have a "reason" for my delays. I'm so sorry that your wait has no visible reason to maybe make the wait have at least some form of purpose. Your bowling outing looks like SO much fun!!!! We took 10 of our kiddso and a friend bowling for my birthday last week and it too was TONS OF FUN!!!
