Yesterday we went up to Bellingham High School with Hannah so she could compete in a vocal solo contest. Hannah was SO nervous I thought she was going to faint. She has never done anything like this before, but her teacher thought it would be a great experience. She never planned on "winning" anything, but she came in second place in her category. This means that she will go to state if the first place winner cannot go for some reason. She doesn't plan on this happening, but it is just great to know that she did so well. She was SO excited - I just wanted to share her joy with you. This picture is from her 16th birthday party when she was singing and Rick was playing the drums. So much fun!
