Swimming

Since we came home, we have been taking the kids to the public pool every Saturday morning and they just love it. They shiver until I think their lips will fall off, but they still love it and can't wait to go back. They also love bath time. They had never had a bath (or hot water) until they came here, so it's a treat. Baths in Ghana were cold water from a bucket - they were always clean - bathed every night - but it was not play time like it is here. Well - we decided it was time to have a "pool" at home, so we bought this blow up pool. They LOVE it - here is a selection of pictures from today. AnnaMarie thought the water (from the hose) was too cold (it was pretty darn cold) so she carried 14 buckets of hot water from the sink to pour in and warm it up. They still shivered, but had a great time. David had so much fun with his bucket of water, too. Anyway - enjoy all of the posts today - I may not get on again for a while!
