Talking to Mom on the phoneThese pictures were taken last Tuesday by Maria, who is in Ghana bringing her sweet daughter home. She let the girls call us on her cell phone and I talked to them for a few minutes. Rick didn't get to talk to them that time, but we got to talk to them again this morning (thanks, Lisa!) and Rick talked to them both. AnnaMarie called Rick "Dad" for the first time. "Hi Dad!" "I love you, Dad!" "See you soon, Dad!" You should have seen his face. I was able to tell them that they will see us in SEVEN more "sleeps." As Maria always says, "Oh my heart!"
CAn I say I LOVE the pictures! Maria is a gem...Lisa is a gift...your kids are beautiful! OH MY HEART is right! Can not wait to have ONE BIG celebration with all these amazing families! Like you said to me today "when all of us have attached, bonded a bit...boy are we going to have some fun!"
