Well - John and Lisa made it to Ghana and are with the kids as I write this. Here she is with Monica (left), Naomi and AnnaMarie. They are holding calendars that I made for them so that they can count down the days until they see us - seven more sleeps! Please pray for the Visa appointment - tomorrow (it will be the middle of the night - tonight - in the US, so pray today!). Pray that all of the paperwork is in order and they grant our Visas this week. Tell the girls I love them, Lisa! Give David a kiss for me.Monday, April 27, 2009

My heart is swelling for both of your families. What a journey you have been through and what joy and hope you must have now! (or at least you will have once you have your visas in hand!)
ReplyDeleteHow many of us have sat on the "blue couch" with our kiddos..the first visit, the pick them up visit...always the wonderful blue couch! SMILING at the SMILES! look at their faces! isn't it sooo true that once you have looked into ANY of the eyes of ANY of the kiddos at BH....your heart cries out for their FOREVER families to be connected to them! Oh sitting on the couch in the office of a mighty warrior Bh director! Great memories....Cheryl your "couch time is coming!"
