Family of EIGHT!

September 29th, 2008 - Our adoption is granted!

We have three new children!

Let me introduce you to the newest members of the Crawford family!

Annamarie is 11 years old. She has a quiet spirit and a gentle heart. She is always helping with the younger children and always smiling. There is just something about her that tells you that she will be an amazing young woman some day! We can't wait to get to know her better!

Naomi is 3 years old. She is full of energy and words! When I was at Beacon House, she was the one that used to take my face in her hands so that I would look her right in the eye when she talked to me. She was very interested in where I lived and how many kids I had and where I got my beautiful necklace!

David is about 5 months old. I have never seen David in person because we didn't even know about him when I was at Beacon House in June. I think he was born in April. He is very loved at Beacon House - he is always being held by someone in all of the pictures I've seen. We can't wait to hold him in our arms! We have lots of cuddly blankets waiting for him.

We feel so blessed and honored that God has chosen our family to love these children. Please pray that all of the paperwork that still needs to be done will come through quickly and that these kids will get to come home very soon! There are lots of changes going on in the courts in Ghana right now, so we really don't have any idea when we will be able to go and get them - we are just praying that God's will is done! He is so good!
