Annamarie had her first trip to the salon today and she is SO happy! When she first came home, I did yarn braids in her hair. I loved the way the looked, but they took me about 3 days to put in. The nice thing is that they last for 6 weeks! When we finally took them out, however, she just wanted to leave her hair alone for a little while. That got old, though, because she had to brush it out every day and that is a lot of work. So - we made an appointment and had it cornrowed today and it looks so cute! And...it only took 2 hours! Yes! It is quite expensive (50 bucks) so we won't do it every month, but it's nice for now. It should stay in a month in a half or so and then she said she would be patient and let me do it for her again. We got lots of hair tips from Cassandra at the salon - she is great! If you live in the Oak Harbor area, it's Salon 7 and Cassandra and Ada are awewome! The only problem with this type of cornrows is that they are really tight and they hurtfor the first 24 hours or so. I've had to give her Tylenol twice since we came home. Now that's pain for beauty! LOL! Isn't she pretty?!!!

We had our second visit to the adoption docs in Seattle yesterday and all of the kids have gained weight AND height! They had to have more shots which really made them mad, but they were very brave. David has to have some follow-up testing on his hearing and his bones so we will go down to Children's Hospital in Seattle on the 20th. Naomi will also go to Children's for a couple of things. Please keep them in your prayers - because of all of the shots they are very wary of doctors at this point!
