Home At Last!

Playing with toys!

Having fun on the living room floor.

On the airplane flying to America!

Yarn braids - so cute!

Breakfast! AnnaMarie wanted eggs and toast and Naomi wanted oatmeal.

Watching a movie with big sister Hannah (and all of the dolls).

Playing the toy piano.

Here the kids are holding the envelopes that held all of the paperwork that let them into the country. These envelopes are very important - you don't leave Ghana without them and you don't get into America without them. They are golden when you are adopting. The last thing you need to bring your precious family home!
-------------------------------------------------
I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to post! We only had internet twice in Ghana and not for long at that. We used the time to talk to the kids on facebook and then ran out of units so that I couldn't post except for that one quick picture.
-----------------------------------------------
We are home and everything is going great! David has a cold and is feeling miserable right now, so that is slowing us down a little. That's why this is the first time my computer has been on since before we left for Ghana. I had 350 e-mails. Crazy!
----------------------------------------------
Anyway - the kids are doing well and we are just taking time to get to know one another and attach. This will take time, but we are off to a great start. Thanks so much for all of your prayers throughout our adoption journey - God has been so good! I will post some pictures of our trip and tell a little about it in the near future. Right now I need to go to bed - yes - before 9pm. LOL!

  1. Great pics! Love those yarn braids. Glad things are going well.

We have I600 approval and everything is ready ... except we don't have 2 passports. NOT good! Please pray for guidance for me and Lanae.
