For anyone who hasn't been here, this is the Deception Pass Bridge. We live just on the other side of this bridge. Isn't it pretty? When I think of adopting, I always think about the first time we drive our child(ren) across this bridge to their new home. Who will they be? How old will they be? Will they be boys or girls (or both)? God has really opened up our hearts to these kids. This week God told me that the criteria that we had on our adoption paperwork was "our" criteria. He impressed it on my heart that we should open that up so that He could give us the child(ren) that HE has for us. So - we have changed our critera from "one male age 7-11" to "up to three children, male or female, ages newborn to 15." This may sound a little crazy, but this is what God has asked of us. We are sure of this. So now, we are praying and waiting. We would appreciate prayers for confirmation. We don't want to run out ahead of Him and we want to do His will - whatever that is!
This is quite an amazing journey - and so exciting. Thank you so much for your prayers!
