Pumpkin Patch

Family Picture! Is this the perfect pumpkin? No...I let's keep on looking!

Sweet little David!

Annamarie sitting on a HUGE pumpkin!

Corey had the job of helping Naomi find her pumpkin. I think she looked at EVERY single pumpkin in the entire pumpkin patch before she found her most perfect pumpkin. Corey was so patient! There were a couple of times they were only little dots out in the patch!
In the pumpkin wagon - on the way out to the pumpkin patch.

Naomi - still on her quest for the perfect pumpkin!

We almost made it through the day without rain, but just as we were leaving we were
caught in a downpour. Mom just needed one more picture, though!

Here are some select photos from our pumpkin patch day. We had such a great time. The kids searched and searched for their pumpkins. We bought lots of apples and are planning on making an apple pie this weekend. Uncle Jeff came - as he always does for pumpkin day - and the kids just loved him! Naomi was in his lap most of the time - he's so much fun! We ate lunch at the Olive Garden - this was the first time that all eight of us went out to a restaurant. We tried to order "cheap" - off the lunch menu, splitting meals, etc. and it still cost $120.00! I guess we won't be doing that too often, but the kids loved it and we had a great time! Spaghetti is their favorite! We ended the day by watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." They LOVED it! Annamarie just laughed and laughed. She really loves a funny movie!

  1. I love the pictures! Looks like everyone is doing great and I am so glad to see that Naomi is healing well after her surgery. I was going to mention that my daughter, Greta, also had surgery on her face a Children's earlier this year and she has used those strips. Aren't they a great invention? I am blanking on our docs name right now, but did you happen to have a doctor that just recently traveled to Ghana? When we were there, he was just going to go on a type of mission/teaching trip.
